A Worthy Cookie Inc. is an online cookie studio specializing in personalized French macarons, sugar cookies and cupcakes. The studio is based out of Sturgeon County, AB; minutes away from St. Albert and Edmonton. Everything created in our licensed bakery is custom designed from scratch with attention to detail, quality and customers’ needs. It is a pleasure to serve the greater Edmonton area with cookies for our team-building workshops.

Hello, We are Maria and Richard, husband and wife owners of A Worthy Cookie Inc.
We love offering retail and wholesale services with personalized macarons, sugar cookies and cupcakes. With the help of edible ink, our cookie studio daily elevates our hand-prepared confections into sweet little billboards and memorable tokens of appreciation.
We love collaborating with professionals, corporations and engaged couples to showcase their unique brands and visions in a way that will leave a lasting impression on their stakeholders and guests.
Beyond retail and wholesale bakery services, we love teaching sugar cookie decorating classes for groups in the Greater Edmonton region looking for creative team-bonding experiences.

We stay close to our European roots, where desserts aren’t just treats but works of art, and we draw inspiration from this motto in our everyday work. As per our company name, every cookie has to be worthy of its place on the dessert table, and thus, customer experience, quality and presentation come before all else.
About Sugar Cookie Decorating Workshops
Working with confectionary art is a dream job! We love coming to corporate groups (or private parties) with a fun team-bonding activity and watching the stress give way to smiles and comradery.
We offer 30-minute, 60-minute and 90-minute classes. The supplies include freshly baked sugar cookies, delicious icings, aprons and supporting tools. We do all the prep and clean-up!
The class is structured in a way to offer both technical guidance as well as opportunities for artistic freedom. At the end of the workshop, participants love packing up their creations to take home.
About The Macarons
We keep hearing time and time again how our macarons taste different from the rest. What makes the difference is that we only use the freshest, natural ingredients. The crowd-pleasing flavours certainly include the Great-Grandmother’s German Chocolate buttercream and the highly-addicting salted caramel, but Maria’s personal favourite has got to be the passion fruit! It is so good that we make sure it is on the menu year-round!
Because they are naturally made without gluten, macarons have become especially popular with those seeking gluten-free options and wanting to elevate their special occasion with this iconic confection. We hand-craft macarons to be truly worthy of the attention they receive at a special event.

Creative baking has been an artistic outlet for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Europe, I watched the women in my family make incredible sweets from scratch for every special occasion. Now that I have a family, there is no shortage of special events needing equally special treats.
Before opening the cookie studio, I spent nearly 20 years in a corporate sales career, where I grew my passion for facilitating workshops and customer service. Even though I traded my briefcase for an apron, helping corporate professionals with their promotional needs still lies dear to my heart. I understand it can be challenging to source meaningful gifts and entertainment activities while navigating a complex business environment.
